In Madea on the Run 2, Madea (Tyler Perry) is pulled back into chaos when her long-lost cousin Varnetta escapes from prison and hides out at Madea’s house. Trying to keep the feds off her trail while keeping her nosy neighbors out of her business, Madea gets wrapped up in a wild scheme involving fake identities, a stolen bus, and a gospel choir competition. Meanwhile, Joe falls in love with Varnetta—unaware of her criminal past.

When Varnetta’s old crew shows up demanding stolen money, Madea takes matters into her own hands, leading to a hilarious church showdown with wigs flying, secrets revealed, and someone getting baptized in the punch bowl.
