In this reimagining of the classic prison escape thriller, Escape from Alcatraz (2025) follows elite hacker Ava Monroe (Scarlett Johansson), wrongly imprisoned on a resurrected, high-tech version of Alcatraz—now an offshore black site for the world’s most dangerous minds.

Teamed with ex-special forces operative Jack Ryker (Jason Statham), jailed for a crime he didn’t commit, the two uncover a government conspiracy involving weaponized AI and off-the-books assassinations.
