In The Longest Yard 2, Paul Crewe (Adam Sandler) is now a retired coach mentoring troubled youth when he’s called back to prison—this time, to help train a new team of inmates for a high-stakes charity game against a squad of elite pro athletes. Among the new inmates is Tank Jackson (Dwayne Johnson), a former NFL star with a temper and a secret grudge.
As Crewe tries to unite a dysfunctional team, tensions flare between Tank and the guards, leading to a brutal and emotional clash on the field. In the end, teamwork, redemption, and second chances prevail, with Tank becoming an unlikely hero. The game changes lives—and the rules—for good.
