The sequel picks up with college student Mia (Sophie Wilde) now unexpectedly connected to the embalmed hand she passed off in Greece—and haunted by Duckett’s tormented spirit from the original’s cold open.

When a new group of students in Adelaide discover a second occult hand, they unwittingly resurrect a cascade of spirits—including Duckett and a darker force bound to the artifact’s origin. Mia, warned by frantic messages from Riley, returns to help them unravel the hand’s mythology. As possessions spiral violently out of control—manifesting in bloody visions and shattered mirrors—Mia leads a nighttime ritual to destroy both hands. But in the film’s final scene, the camera zooms in on one intact fingertip glowing under the ritual fire… suggesting the spiral of possession isn’t over. An ominous whisper echoes: “Talk to me again…”
